HP

It's melancholy that the last of the Harry Potter movies has come! I have to conclude, though, that overall, the films are equally as good as the books. lovem both. Even if, of course, Hollywood versions are ALWAYS different from the book version, I watched the final one tonight and it was still sooo good. I am forever a Harry Potter fan. I may not be the craziest or most die-hard, but nevertheless, a fan. Now all I need to do is go to the Wizarding World (in Orlando) already! My mischief will be managed! ahah ;)

this is from the Part 1 premiere, during college. my roommate drew me the Hallows symbol :)

The Good Life

So yesterday me and my G mamas had a mini vacay....within our summer vacay...hahah...so i guess a getaway? lol anywho
We booked a room at The Embassy suites, Oxnard/Mandalay Beach. I call it a diamond in the rough because NO ONE knows about this resort...probably because usually when someone thinks Embassy Suites they think like Holiday Inn(no offense to them or anything)..but no this particular Embassy Suites really does exceed any expectation.
The room was a beaut: a dining area, a living room, 2 bathrooms, 2 queen beds+ a pull out bed from the coach. OH and a balcony! Cheers to luxury life...even if we ain even rich *heel click*
Whoever designed this place was genius because it was literally the hotel, the pool area, the beach, all connected, one after the other. Right in front of the hotel building was the pool and quaintest, grotto-like spa. in front of that was the most pleasant beach of Mandalay. It was a perfect setup and did not end there.
After we relaxed in the sand and emerged our bodies into the ocean, we relaxed and emerged our bodies into the spa lol.
After that we got ready for dinner and mistakenly over-dressed for the Ventura pier. It was no matter, though, because we discovered the greatest Beach House Tacos. These tacos and chips were beyond delight.
After scrumptiousness, the ultimate fun began. We girlies proceeded in preparing for a palooza. haaaaa.
we got "Island-esque" drinks such as Malibu and Coronitas to fit our "getaway" theme
We played "BBP" LOL and hilarious games of Kings Cup.
But after a few sessions of Cat Daddy-ing and Dougieing...our bromies Marty, Jesse, and Matt arrived...with more Stella Artois. More games of Kings Cup followed...and after that...you know what that means....LOL

All feeling..well..silly.....we decided to do..well..silly..things hahah
We go out to the beach---the moon being our only source of light---and each of us chug a corona right before rushing into the dark waves of the sea!! IT WAS CRAZY AWESOME. AND FROZE MY ASS hahaha but immediately we hurry into the jacuzzi...even if it was "after-hours".Mind this was all past midnight.

Rap battles, Truth or Dare, Never-have-I-ever, and stoops shindigs like planking, followed lmao. Finally, after many laughs and pictures and videos, we all ktfo. TWAS A NIGHT.
This morning i woke up in a ball on the comfortable-enough armchair. The gang then all got breakfast off of breakfast-for-2 tickets aha (basically we cheated the system).
After that we napped on the beach and finally said farewell to the gorgeous land of Embassy Suites, Oxnard. lol
I already miss this mini vacation and  must say i havent had that much fun in a while. I love my ladies and my home boyz. GOOD VIBES ALL THE TIME

k sorry father and canada

i know it was your birthdays and i love you and all...but i'm going to have to say the past 2 days of my life were pretty tough.
reflecting upon myself, i started to feel like some sort of loser. I know i'm not. and i know i really shouldn't hate my life right now. But sometimes, i cant help but to. I realized that a lot of people my age, even younger, are living the life I want to live. I know I have to embrace what I have and that true happiness is not comparing yourself to others but what I see is happening is just...well, disappointing...frowns.
I'm disappointed no one called me back from the job interview. I'm disappointed in myself for being so dependent. I'm disappointed in myself for making my love life a complex vortex of relationshit. I'm disappointed in myself for being lazy. ALL these things can be fixed and I know that...just tonight did i feel a little bit of rejuvenation, but I feel like sometimes, you just need to bask. You just need to accept things and take them and spit them into a spittoon. My spittoon is this blog.
I think too much. I have so much to be sorry for. I have so many expectations. I NEED TO BE FIXED.
It's a difficult thing when you realize your life is not going the way you want it. And I've had to endure and embrace this fact for the past 2 days. Usually, I would use distractions to veer away from that awful truth. but the past 2 days forced me to face it. And it definitely pwned me. I will fix it, though. and I will get through things, without insecurity. I can do it. I need to set things right...it's definitely the "boss" level of the game, however :/

Hollywood, what's good?

Last night was honestly one of the most random nights of my life.
It started off getting ready at CLo's.
Then a handful of my girlfriends arrived and we sipped Malibu as we drove to this club in Hollywood called Club Moscow. It was free and was right off Hollywood and Highland.
We got there and the club's facade was interesting.
We entered and found that it was 20% SCV and 80% Hipster hahah. The outside "courtyard" consisted of an aspiring, unknown hipsderp band and a bar.
Once inside the real venue, there was a half empty dance floor of shufflers and house music playing. We go upstairs where there are fancy seating areas.
As the night goes on we just take pictures, "dance" but not really, observe shufflers and hipsters, and spot/socialize with a few people we met up with.
At one point, me and the girlies were sitting and got mesmerized by the videos they were playing in the background of the dance floor. It was clips of depressed looking teenage faces and sketchy ghetto places. Me and my friend Amanda were like wtf. As we were laughing our asses off, a creeper dude tries to start a conversation with me by saying "Hi, you look like youre having a good time" and im just loling (im sorry!) LOL but i just responded by saying "oh, im just watching the videos on the wall" and he relpied by saying "oh my gosh, youre funny" i instanlty cracked up..in my head hahahaha.
As the night proceeded, we went upstairs again and this drunken mister goes up to me and asks me for some gum. Sorry dude.
We finally decided to bounce and get some Roscoes Chicken and Waffles.
On our way out, we run into these 2 attractive British guys. We walk away only to hear the security guys calling us back and flashing their lights.
Confused, we walk back up to them wondering why...they say "Hey, you should talk to those guys" *points at the foreign fellows* LOL
We quickly ask them questions like "Oh, why are you in Hollywood?" "Do you like it?" "You should go in the club" etc. etc.
After that jumble of awkwardness, the brunette and blonde British chaps say thank you. The brown-haired one takes my friend Ann's hand and kisses it. She floats away, charmed. LOL
Still trying to evaluate what just happened, we continue on to our Roscoe's mission.
The night gets sketchier as we are followed by hoodrat skaters that looked like they were from Odd Future.
They try talking to us while cruising on their skateboards. One introduced himself as Tre. and says hes from Canyon Country. WTF he lived where we live lmao.
We then parted ways from them..haha they were weird but it was a good laugh for sure.
Suddenly, I find one of the guys still sticking with us. He was flirting with my friend Karissa LOL
My friend Erika called him "Bruh" but i thought i  heard her say "Brock" so I was like "His name's Brock??" hahahah but no, it was Logan...too bad I still called him Brock.
After 3407823 miles of walking on the janky streets of Hollywood, we arrive at Roscoes only to find us THREE minutes late from closing. UGH.
Luckily there was a Denny's right across the street, so we decided to grub there....with Logan still with us LMAO.
He was honestly just derpin at the table with us..not saying, well, anything LOL
After having 2 and a half cups of Bottomless hot chocolate...i was full of chocolate liquid.
Everyone almost forgot we had to walk back...so we trudged along.
After this almost endless journey we made it back to our cars; we may have been hooted and hollared at, but at least we werent raped. LMAO
It was not too bad though, at least we explored the streets and got to see where we could go when were all 21 haha
Anyhow, Logan stuck it til the very end...until he was just like "K I'm guna dip" ahaha...deuces Brock
The night was too funny. WTF LYF for lyf.
Oh it did not end in Hollywood though...once we got back to our hometown, we decided to have a mini TP sesh..just for kicks. oh man...live young i guess? hah...random life.com
