Borderline

So my friends Carey and Erika convinced me to go to a club...but a club where people line dance.....
Not going to lie, I was scared LOL But let's just say after a 40 of Pacifico and a bottle of Coors plus Red Bull and vodka, it did not matter what type of shape dancing I was doing...line, square, circle, whatever! hahaha It was a fun night visiting my brotha Marty at his house in Malibu and dancing with all my friends at Borderline. It was a successful night out
lol i'm not cool^

Summer

Started off my summer by going to Disneyland. I was so happy there that instantly all that happiness was drained once I stepped back into the real world again ha sad I know. Anyway life goes on, I dropped my first summer class lol woopsies but I am still signed up for History of Cinema which shall be cool. As of this particular summer day, I started working on set for my talented friend, Jessica. She is working on a short film and I am helping her with wardrobe. It was the first day of production and must I say a very successful one at that. It took about 10 hours but after, we deservingly cracked open some cans of summer time Coors and relaxed to wrap up our day of film work. I met not only a chill, but professional group of people today and it was really fun!  I cannot wait for the upcoming filming dates and most of all, the finishing product!

Relay For Life

This was only my second time participating in this event but having a very close friend pass away from cancer last year, I had to show my support; so i joined his team. It was amazing spending time with people who all love Jonny. We were all dedicated to walk laps for him and celebrate him and just have fun. We definitely did as the 24 hour walk continued on to the AM. We toasted our paper cups full of wine to Jonny. We even got a little buzzed walking our laps through 1:30 to 3 AM and goofing off haha. As 4AM creeped up, we were not going to fall to fatigue. CANCER NEVER SLEEPS. We decided to climb up the Central Park hill to watch the sunrise. We started off with a big group but as more and more went to bed, it was only me, my friend Pharo and my friend Kristin left. We stayed up all the way to the end of the event at 9 AM. I felt very accomplished and it felt good to do it all for a cause.

J.A.B out cancer!

Birthday

(April 28th)

I woke up sick which sucked but the night turned out pleasant as I drove my ass all the way to Riverside to see my lovely Big Sis and Big Bro (Ate + Kuya). Together, we watched the wonderful Philippine Culture Night performance, in which I participated in last year...this year the production was called Speechless. and boy is that what it left me when it ended. Everyone I knew from last year did a fantastic job. After the show, we decided on where to eat and as we stood around, goofing off, waiting for our spot inside the restaurant 2 amazing things happen: ESTA walks by me and goes in the restaurant. Being from San Diego, I did not expect him to be there of all places!! So that was awesome and then the moment that made my whole day life: a little girl comes up to me and says shyly, "This is really random but you're really pretty" My life was complete after that because one, that little girl was cuter than me! and two, I was dgafing real hard and definitely just being my weird self! Her genuine-ness was one of the greatest birthday gifts I could have ever received.

(MAY 5th)

To celebrate my 20th year, me and my close friends spent Cinco de Mayo on the beach.

After being presented a bouquet of orchids and sharing s'mores around a bonfire, we spent the night at the beach front hotel while sipping Stella Rosa til we fell asleep. It was an invaluable birthday celebration that I have to thank all my friends for<3

Hollyhood

Went thrifting @ Fairfax and La Brea today with girly Breezy:
Got these Deena&Ozzy Oxfords for 20

On our way to Umami Burger I notice a ragged blue-eyed man in the BMW next to us. We then have that awkward moment when the driver turns his head the exact moment you do, only to be left staring at each other for that brief instance. HE WAS TOM FELTON. and to confirm my assumption I look at his passenger only to recognize that she certainly resembled his current girlfriend. Bree and I were instantly cracking up with disbelief. It was ridiculous! He had a ponytail on and the profile of his face looked different. Nonetheless, it was him. This article justifies his hairdo and car and girlfriend and his presence in general!  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2094292/Draco-Tom-Felton-worlds-away-Harry-Potter-days-sports-ponytail-man-bag.html

And yes, yet again I am promoting Umami Burger. Tried their truffle fries this time. No regrets at all. And their sweet, sweet burgers never fail to make my life better.

Christmas 2011

was not typical. Christmas Eve I had work...my first time working on a holiday but that's probably something I should get used to eh? Anyhow, I had work and came home around 9 and had traditional Christmas dinner with the family. We then proceeded with our family tradition of opening presents at 12 am instead of the actual morning morning of Christmas day because we're cheaters lol As always, we opened presents one by one, from youngest to oldest. This year the "little kids" as I call them, had it gooooood. The youngest is my brother. This is what I got him:
he then was more than pleasantly surprised with an Xbox and his first Xbox game, Left 4 Dead...which I picked out ;3
Next was my sisters turn in opening her gifts. I gave her what she always wanted: a doll. Yes, a doll. and yes, she is in high school already. I love her.
Last of the "little kids" was my 16 year old sister. Snagged her some expensive ass headphones from Urban that shes always pleaded for. I'm a good sister.

Next was me. I received a great book bag, a golden watch, some clothing, and dolla billz and was perfectly content.
Then my older brother was up. He got from me a fix to his work-out/fitness obsession...work out gear lol.
Mind that i wrapped ALL my siblings gifts in suspiciously undesirable branded bags...for my sisters: Hollister and Victoria Secret bags..my brother: Abercrombie and Fitch LOL I know, I'm a tease. NONETHELESS, they all opened their presents with relief in finding how AWESOME they turned out to be.

I gave my grandmas each a festive brooch and my grandfathers a Nike Golf Cap, a Coffee Mug and a sweater. Lastly, for my parents, I gave them a $50 gift card to the fancy shmancy (pricy) restaurant I work at. I was pretty proud of myself this Christmas because after all that gift purchasing, I was completely broke. It was all worth it of course-Christmas will always be my favorite :) Hope you all had a wonderful one.

Disneyland

this year has brought A LOT of Disney opportune to my life. I love it.
my best friend Carey took me to Disneyland AND California Adventure yesterday. We did everything right. We got the infamous pineapple ice cream. Despite the day-after-Christmas congestion, we managed to strategically avoid all the 65 minute waits and got fast passes that fit a convenient time schedule. I suggest this game plan to whomever enters Disneyland when overly crowded because yesterday was PRESTINE. everything went by smoothly and it was pure perfection. We rode all the good rides: Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Buzz Lightyear, park hopped and went on California Soarin, the new Little Mermaid ride, Screamin roller Coaster, etc. We planned our times so well that we even had time to shop: I got a Yoda backpack lmao. Carey got Mickey sunglasses yeee. We even got our first Caricatures! Plus we ate some dank food hahaha. Sweet potato fries by Tom Sawyer Island, A Blue Moon and Jalapeno pretzel on Paradise Pier, and Rainforest Cafe. We ended our night with the World of Color which always takes my breath away haaaa. I will forever be a Disney child<3

WatchED the Throne

DEC11/11:
It was my first time at the Staples Center. It was my first time seeing Kanye and Jay Z live. Kanye wore a leather kilt. Jay Z was sufferin from realness LOL they played that song 7 times at the end btw. so basically, THAT SHI WAS CRAY. They played all their best hits and me and my home girls Carey, Ann, and Amanda all drank a long island and hollared our collars off lmao it was truly The Good Life

Where I work

I woke up at 7 am today to volunteer at this charity event called Breakfast with Santa hosted by the restaurant I work at (Salt Creek Grille), Toys for Tots, and this station called Combat Radio. We were able to provide the less fortunate children of our valley: a breakfast buffet, balloon animals, face paintings, a chance to meet some underground celebrities, and take a picture and get a present from Santa. Plus, we were all surrounded by good music from bands and carolers, and characters from Star Wars haha they had Santa hats on. hilarious! Everyone also got to participate in a raffle that offered some pretty good prizes. I actually won a signed soccer ball by Werner Roth. Everyone was also given a lot of freebees: comedy show tickets, autographs (i got one from Uncle Ruckus from the Boondocks), t-shirts, and FOOD lol. It was a very festive and heart warming event. I love the feeling I get after I volunteer and I appreciate where I work more now since they hosted this whole event.
