Relay For Life

This was only my second time participating in this event but having a very close friend pass away from cancer last year, I had to show my support; so i joined his team. It was amazing spending time with people who all love Jonny. We were all dedicated to walk laps for him and celebrate him and just have fun. We definitely did as the 24 hour walk continued on to the AM. We toasted our paper cups full of wine to Jonny. We even got a little buzzed walking our laps through 1:30 to 3 AM and goofing off haha. As 4AM creeped up, we were not going to fall to fatigue. CANCER NEVER SLEEPS. We decided to climb up the Central Park hill to watch the sunrise. We started off with a big group but as more and more went to bed, it was only me, my friend Pharo and my friend Kristin left. We stayed up all the way to the end of the event at 9 AM. I felt very accomplished and it felt good to do it all for a cause.

J.A.B out cancer!

Birthday

(April 28th)

I woke up sick which sucked but the night turned out pleasant as I drove my ass all the way to Riverside to see my lovely Big Sis and Big Bro (Ate + Kuya). Together, we watched the wonderful Philippine Culture Night performance, in which I participated in last year...this year the production was called Speechless. and boy is that what it left me when it ended. Everyone I knew from last year did a fantastic job. After the show, we decided on where to eat and as we stood around, goofing off, waiting for our spot inside the restaurant 2 amazing things happen: ESTA walks by me and goes in the restaurant. Being from San Diego, I did not expect him to be there of all places!! So that was awesome and then the moment that made my whole day life: a little girl comes up to me and says shyly, "This is really random but you're really pretty" My life was complete after that because one, that little girl was cuter than me! and two, I was dgafing real hard and definitely just being my weird self! Her genuine-ness was one of the greatest birthday gifts I could have ever received.

(MAY 5th)

To celebrate my 20th year, me and my close friends spent Cinco de Mayo on the beach.

After being presented a bouquet of orchids and sharing s'mores around a bonfire, we spent the night at the beach front hotel while sipping Stella Rosa til we fell asleep. It was an invaluable birthday celebration that I have to thank all my friends for<3
